      2. Help Ss to practice some phonetic sounds;

      Ss are able to use can and can’t to describe one’s abilities

      Step 1    Lead in    

      1) Change the following sentences

      2) Ask-answer practice with your partner

      T: I can drive a car.

      They can swim.

      He can use the computer.

      We can play basketball.

      She can serve visitors.

      You can speak English.

      Ss: Can you drive a car?

      T: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.

      Step 2     Grammar focus

      Definition:

      can / can’t

      表示能力,能作什么,會(huì)做什么

      不隨人稱(chēng)變化而變化,其后跟動(dòng)詞原形

      Structure

      肯定句,主語(yǔ)+cando

      否定句,主語(yǔ)+cannot do

      一般疑問(wèn)句,can+主語(yǔ)+do?
